Great room for a great price and location - "The islander is in a fantastic spot to get to disneyland and california adventure park, with only about a 10min walk. Its also close to the anaheim garden walk which is full of shops and resturants. It was great because we also travelled to Knotts Berry Farm, and it was only a trip away. The question is what makes this... "

However I am confident that I made the best choice for my family. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, so helpful and fun to talk to. The setting of the hotel was nice too, apartment-like, with families able to interact and enjoy each other. It was like a home away from home. Thank you - "I stayed at The Islander for 5 days this March (2010), while I was attending a conference at the Anaheim Convention Center. It was my first visit to the Inn (after a lot of research) and I found it to what most online reviewers’ said: a wonderful value, clean, and staffed by friendly help. Specifically, I thought the beds were quite comfortable and liked that the windows opened. I especially appreciated the free parking and complimentary daily Internet. I’ve stayed at the many hotels in the area over the years and they tend to nickel-and-dime for any extras. Overall, I enjoyed my stayed and have already rebooked for next year’s conference. Like many Disneyland visitors, we didn't spend much time in our room, but we were happy with the personal service received--small things, perhaps, but they spell hospitality: Easy online reservations. Great location: shuttle stop right outside the door and a "mall of restaurants" across the street. Attention to our note that we needed a first-floor room. Information on shuttle passes (and the ability to purchase them on the spot). Directions to a quick place for breakfast ~ IHOP. Giving us our room key early so we could stop for breakfast and then enjoy "park hopping." Assuring us the room would be ready before normal check-in time. Although we thought one of us (me...the old mom) would return to rest during the day, we stayed at Disneyland well into the night. The beds are wonderful! The room temperature was perfect...and the entire facility is quiet. Although we didn't need it this time, it was nice to see that laundry facilities are available to the guests. Most of all, I personally enjoyed my interaction with Shiham--and I hope I remembered to spell your name correctly. The only thing is the parking but when we came back late at night from Disneyland, the front desk clerk moved his car so we can park in his spot. That was really nice. We had a great time. hotel stay - "Hi, this is ms. morgason. I just wanted to let you know that everything at the islander inn and suites was absolutely great. I was a little leary and thought maybe it was to good to be true before my arrival but the feedback I read reassured me. I was amazed at the quality of the suite. The linens were new and very clean as well as the towels. The maid service was superb. The office managers were friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for anything more. And the price was not inflated. We stayed in the two room suite and eveything from the microwave to coffee makers and iron worked well. It felt like a four star experience to me. (5 almost) I can not believe the hotel is 2 stars and really expect that to change. Hey even disney trusts this hotel and that is saying a lot as well. Thank you - "Hello Anaheim Islander Inn & Suite Staff, We wanted to tell you that we had a really great stay with you. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided us directions for shopping, bus information, set up internet on my sons' iPod and even allowed us to use their computer to check in to the airline. Our room was very clean and real roomy. The bedding and decor looked new and fresh. We had more room then we needed, with 3 tables, an entertainment centre and a sofa bed in our room. I never tripped over my suitcase once. Having a fridge and microwave in our room came in handy for keeping some food in the fridge and reheating some late night pizza. There was even a list of restaurants in the area that delivered to the hotel. The hotel was close enough to Disneyland's main gate that the walk did not take very long at all, which was a nice wind down from our day. The pool looked nice and clean but we never went in it as we spent our days in the resort, next time. We got exactly what we wanted; a good clean room, not noisy, good staff, all the amenities and we did not pay for the splash such as gift stores, name recognition etc. We will be back again and do recommend you as a great inexpensive hotel in the Anaheim area. thank you from, The Gramlich Family"
Fantastic experience for first time travellers - "My brother and I stayed here for 3 day during November for our visit to Disney. It was my Brothers first overseas experience and staying here made us both feel very comfortable in a new country. Easy access to shops, food and transport. Disney is less then 1Km away we were able to walk to the gates with ease. Staff were very friendly and informative. rooms were very spacious and well maintained."
